I was browsing through a sexfight comic sit when i found your lovely story called Wipe Down uploaded with the name @storylover with lovely graphic art.
I just wanted to enquire if you have uploaded this story yourself?

Tbh, that just looks like a story scraper account. They have posted stories from other writers too. Just added an AI cover pic. Like Morton, Catharsis, Spears, A.Penman, etc. Atleast they gave credit to these authors at places, except King for some reason.

I had been notified by someone -I think it may have been Literaturelover, in fact - that some of my stories were being republished elsewhere without credit. I think he promised to report this to the other boards (story scraper?) admins and I hope that he did so. I don't mind sharing my imagination for free, obviously, but I'd like to be credited for it!

Sadly it's common at such places. While some are genuine enough to give credit to the authors. Some just take the whole story & just change the title or character names. Atleast with the King story tagged above, they did none of that and just didn't give credit to the author.

I do remember a long while back you mentioning your stories being sold somewhere, on the previous board. It's sad. Hope it never happens again to genuine sexfight authors like you.

HI! I've been looking at the site you linked and it's quite interesting. I recognize all of the stories there, incluidng some of mine, and most of them have been properly credited. There are several stories by King and they are not, though I think that "storylover" may be the name for the person running the site because it appears with properly credited stories too.

One interestng thing: one of my favourite Morton stories/series is "The Y Series" which starts with "Push Comes to Shove". That story and its sequel are on the site. But this site includes a third story, "Even", which wraps up the conflict between the two main characters. It is also credited to Morton and it is very well written. However, I don't think it is his story, mostly because there are two more stories in "The Y Series" and one of the main characters re-appears in both of them (both of the main characters re-appear in the last story) and the attitude and tenor of those characters appear very different from what is portrayed in "Even." In fact, I've never heard of "Even" before. As a sort of connoisseur of "Morton" stories, this one doesn't quite feel right to me, but I'm curious to see if another writer took it upon themselves to write an alternative ending to a Morton story. It is possible that Morton himself wrote another ending and then changed his mind about where he was taking the characters, but that would be odd for him.

Anyway, I'm just throwing this out there for those Morton fans who are interested in getting the complete collection of his stories. Before seeing "Even" I had thought I had everything he ever wrote. I've save this one too, but with a caveat.
